Fingerstashes
Fingerstache
A mustache that's drawn on the side of your finger and then held up under your nose. - Urban Dictionary

The finger moustache tattoo, otherwise known as the "fingerstache", is a tattoo of a stylized moustache on the index finger. The finger is then placed between the nose and the lips, simulating a moustache. - Wikipedia
These were made as a gift and for fun. I am sure I will make more in the future. The pattern is called It's a moustache, for your fingers! and it is located on Ravelry. They were made with random scraps I had handy and then cleaned and blocked. Once dry the top and bottom of each square are sewn together with enough room to slide an index finger.

Hermione the Unicorn
I was able to try out the Hermione the Unicorn pattern by Dawn Toussaint during a Crochet-A-Long in Ravelry in the Cal With Dawn Toussaint group.
Adventures in Celtic Filet Testing
I was able to be one of the testers for these patterns by Patricia Bishop using the Free Pattern Testers group on Raverly.
Yellow - Celtic Tree of Life Filet Crochet
Purple - Celtic Trinity Knot Filet Crochet
Green - Celtic Shamrock Filet Crochet

These were fun charts to follow. It took me a little bit to get into the grove, but I am extremly happy with the results. The last one took the longest since it was the largest (26inx21in), but they all turned out beautiful and were easy to make.

Mohawk Hats
Mohawk Hat
Patons Wool and Vanna's Choice Acrylic
This was my first attempt at the pattern. I added a few extra rows on the ears and the hat portion since I wanted the hat to be a little larger. We were going for the Trojan Helmet look of a metal hat with red mohawk. I am happy with the look, felted mohawk portion, the yarns used and the pattern, Mohawk Hat.
I made a second hat using white Caron One Pound and Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool for the mohawk. In this one I followed the pattern and also added the wool yarn in a braid off the ear flaps, which felted out perfect.
