Meet (one of) my work(s) in progress:
I have always wanted to do a
granny square afghan and for whatever reason I have decided to start one. It takes me about an hour if I am giving it my full attention, even though I can do the stitch with my eyes closed. There are 3 acrylic yarns chosen which seem to compliment each other; one variegated yarn and 2 solid cool colors that are contained in the first yarn. The squares (size now) are around 8 inches. I am not sure how many I plan to do or how I am going to join them together, but in the end I know it will look great and be warm. I might be a little off in the one blue, or it just might be shinier, but it seems close enough.
