Random Creations
Here are some of the items I have made recently:
Stuffed crochet elephant I made for a friends birthday. I started it on a Thursday and it was completed in time for the party on Saturday evening. The pattern came out of the "Simple Creative Crochet" magazine.
Log Cabin Squares - I used to work for quilters and the one thing I learned was that Log Cabin squares rock! Maybe one day I will have enough squares for an afghan, but these two blocks were just for fun.
3 Day Afghan - Using a really, really, really large crochet hook and two strands of yarn at the same time made this afghan quick and easy to make. Each strip is made and then assembled together. Then a few rows are added for a border around the strips. This was my first blanket of this size and is currently in my possession!
Cool yarn given to me. This is now a pillow cover and picks will come later on the completed project. The left hand side of the image is actually the very cool yarn and a strand of the brown crocheted together. The right side is only one strand of brown.
This was the first afghan project I started on and I use it to learn new stitches and techniques. It is still only nine squares sewn together, but one day I hope this will be a large, unique and interesting afghan.
