The patterns for the pieces that follow are all free on
Ravelry, my new favorite website, and are from different designers.
Here are some projects I have recently completed:
This
Baby Set includes:
Baby Cherry Hat - minus the cherry and trim. I also increased the inner circle by two rounds since the pattern says it is for a preemie.
Baby Booties - I was unable to figure out the tassels that go on the ends of the bows. Other then that this is my first knitting item that is not a square or rectangle.
Baby Mitts - These were fun and easy to whip up.

The second
Baby Set is made from
Lily Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn and includes:
Baby Cherry Hat - This time I used a larger yarn so I followed the pattern for the inner circle but did not include the last 3 rounds.
Baby Mitts - These were fun!
